Hi, I'm Finzi, a Rome photographer with over 20 years of experience photographing people. I shoot couples, families, proposals, engagements, weddings and vacation photoshoots at the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, Piazza Navona and Rome's most beautiful hidden corners. English, French and Italian spoken, photos delivered within 24 hours.

A good photo session in Rome starts with a relaxed walk and a few minutes of conversation, so the pictures show real expressions rather than stiff poses. Most of my clients are visitors from many countries who want honest, beautiful memories of their time in the Eternal City, not a stack of posed tourist snapshots. I keep the style clean and contemporary, with natural light, simple compositions and close attention to the way people look at each other.

Couples and honeymooners usually choose an early morning session at the Trevi Fountain or along the quiet streets of Trastevere and Monti, when the light is soft and the crowds are still thin. Families with children prefer a shorter, playful walk through the Villa Borghese gardens or around Piazza Navona, with plenty of breaks for gelato. For a surprise proposal in Rome I plan everything in advance with the partner who is asking: the exact spot, the timing, and a discreet position so I can capture the question, the reaction and the first hug without anyone noticing me.

If you are planning a wedding, an elopement or an engagement shoot in Italy, I can also suggest locations outside the center, such as the Appian Way, the Orange Garden and the Gianicolo hill, which offer a very different mood from the busy landmarks. Sessions usually last between one and two hours, and I always recommend comfortable shoes, light clothing in solid colors, and arriving a little early so we can start without rushing.
